Fast Track is probably a Promise Controller card. Do you have one installed?

When you're prompted to select the proper boot device, which one are you selecting? Have you changed the boot order in the BIOS?

thank you for the reply, the computer does say in the bios setup advanced, outboard device conf...onboard promise controller enabled, i do have like 4 internal drives. I read other posts and disabled it but that did not work. I put it back to enable.
When prompted to reboot it does not give a selection it says reboot and select but does not give choices.
i did go to boot device priority i have 3 choices floppy, hitachi, and pioneer dvd. I put hitachi first but that did not work. I do not have a floppy opening in the front of this computer. It's default is floppy.
