Having a problem with my PC - when I turn it on it states

"we apologise for the inconvenience - windows did not start successfully - recent hardware/software changes might Cause this"

it gives options for resarting mainly

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with netwrorking
Safe Mode - Command Prompt
Last Known Good Configuration
Start Normally

No matter which option I start it loops back to the "apologies for the inconvenience" screen - any ideas what to do?

You may have bad ram. Do you have another stick that you could try? If you get beep codes when you start your computer you can go here: http://www.sysopt.com/biosbmc.html if you Bios is Ami.
