Comment:

I have a LG LW40 Express laptop fitted with a realtek high def. audio sound card, but for the life of me I cant configure it so that when you put your headphones into the headphone jack it cuts out the speakers. Is there a way I can disable the speakers on the laptop and just listen to audio thro the headphones. It was A OK until I install vista. xp was fine. Any suggestions would be most thankful

Sound issue aside, you only have 512MB RAM? Why the heck would you install Vista with that little memory? That's barely enough to run XP well....

Upgrade the RAM or go back to XP.
