I want to upgrade my RAM with another stick of 512 MB. I was wondering if I currently have a stick of RAM with 512MB DDR SDRAM at 333MHz, do I need to get the same MHz, or can I get a stick at 400MHz?

A stick of 400MHZ is fine . Its backwards compatible. It system will help it run at the same speed as the other stick , 333 mhz .

Don't be surprised if you didn't match the stick as close as possible it won't work if your motherboard uses dual channel.
