Ok i have a asus a8n-sli delux mobo. Im running windows xp pro sp1 <--- have cd for sp2

I have 4 gigs of ram in the computer <--- i know im goin overboard however its only reading as 2.75 by windows...WTF?

how much ram will the mobo support (see their website) as it may not be able to see that much?

Its all ocz platinum ram...same brand same model same type...they look very nice actually lol.

I made sure before i purchased the ram. it states 4 gigs.

The following is from my Dell Manual but I am sure it applies to yours too:
