I have a AMD Duron 850MHz and it has 128MB PC133 SDRAM, i bought another stick and installed it, but the computer is not recognizing it. Any suggestions?

See my reply below to the similar question and also make sure that they are the same value, ie. PC133 or PC100. If you mismatch them it may lead to trouble.

I tried what u told me to do and they are the same type (PC133). They are not the same manufacteror probobly. The New one is PNY. Unfortunatly, the company we bought the computer from is out of bussness.

Yea, I had trouble with some PNY memory I bought from a guy that got it at Best Buy. It would only work if I put it in another computer by itself. It would boot up and run but I would get BSOD's out the wazzoo. Try taking one of the chips out and running each one seperately and see how she fares.

just making sure, are you sure it's in all the way? I mean, for SDRAM, the white tabs on the sides must click in when you push down (crucial said to apply 35lbs. of pressure, like a human can measure that...)
