CPU/Ram: Intel Core to Quad Q6600
Manufacturer/Model: Asus (P5K-VM)
Comment:

I m using Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit Edition. I m having probelm in RAM Frequency it's show at booting time 800 Mhz.
Dual Channels But in Windows Vista Ultimate i m checking thorugh CPUZ it's giving MAXBANDWIDTH 400.0 Mhz and DRAM Frequency 400.0 MHz. It's means it is using 400 frequnecy in vista 64 bit ultimate Plz help how i can utilize entire 800 Mhz in vista ultimate 64 bit for high performance in gaming application and other stuff.

i am not very well up on DDR2 ram which is what i assume you have. but with DDR (1) ram the letters DDR stood for double data rate and so if you had DDR 333 ram, in some places it will show 333mhz and in some places 166mhz, which was actually the same thing. The 'true' speed being 166 but the 'effective' speed being 333 (because Double Data Rate means it effictively doubles the true frequency).
So is that the same as what you are seeing?

Exactly. DDR2-800 RAM does not run at 800MHz, that's the effective speed. The actual speed (aka frequency) is 400MHz. In other words, your RAM is running as it should.

Of course, since you have a Q6600, you'd get better performance if you'd underclock the RAM to 533MHz (266MHz frequency) to match the CPU. Check CPUZ > Memory tab > FSB:DRAM. The ideal setting is 1:1...your's is most likely 2:3
