RAM frequency issue :(

@ kuwese i could not get much what u said,i dont understand much about RAM's :( Is there any way u can tell me whether my RAM is working normally. I can provide all the screenshots(just tell me which one u need) :) I already have CPU-Z and speecy installed........ ...................................................................... The memory controller inside Phenom 955 BE support up to DDR3 1333 that means faster memory like DDR3 1600 will be underclocked to run at mem controller supported speed which is DDR3 1333. DDR (double data rate) the actual frequency is obtain by dividing by 2 1333Mhz / 2 = 666.5Mhz which is the value reported by speecy. DDR3 1600 can only be achieved thru overclocking.

Yes there's no frequency problem with your RAM. The problem is u are not running dual channel. Open the side pannel of your computer (remove the power cord first) then from left to right count the memory slots. To be able to run dual channel install one stick of ram on the first slot then the other stick of ram on the third slot (my guess is u have 2 x 2GB and they are identical). The corsair unit is fine, now u can add a high end power hungry video card. I am happy to see that u are following our advice You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.

no no i am using a single stick(4gb) my mobo has 4 slots for RAM And i have installed mine into the second slot the first,3rd and 4th slots r empty AMD Phenom II 955 Black Edition | 4 gb ddr3 | 1 TB segate | Nvidia 9500GT(O.C)
