Specs: Windows XP, Celeron - 1gb
I have 50 IBM Net Vistas 8306 w/celeron. I recently figured out they will not accept high density ram. I have ordered much ram through Ebay and some have been high density. I have lost 5 machines through out the process because for some reason when I install the high density ram and then reinstall the original low density ram the machines will not post. No burning smells or weird sounds happen just a dead machine? Anyone have any ideas how to revive my machines?

According to Crucial.com, the Netvista 8306 accepts up to 2GB of PC2700 (DDR333) RAM, 1GB per slot. There are no denisty issues. Your problem is you're buying your RAM from eBay rather than a reputable vendor. Try resetting the BIOS.
