I suggest that "rames" is not your problem.
Can you explain what you mean by a "RAM crash"?

I still don't know what you mean by a RAM crash. What happens when you start your PC? Does it stay at a blank screen or does it show the POST screen & then go blank?
If you switched motherboards, you will have to reinstall XP.
