I currently have 2 sticks of memory installed on my computer, one being 128mb ddr pc2100 ram, and the other is 256mb ddr pc2100 ram both rated for 266mhz. The problem is that my bios is showing the memory bus speed running at 133 mhz. IBM says my computer can can handle pc2100 ram running at 266mhz. There doesnt seem to be any settings in the bios to change the speed, is there maybe some kinda jumper setting that is making max out at 133mhz? The bios detects the memoryas being "ddr266" . Would reseting the bios with the cmos jumper have it detect the correct speed. Thanks for any solutions.

I believe that you are are running at the correct speed right now.

133Mhz FSB

Your DDR memory=133Mhz*2=266Mhz
