4GB sticks of DDR2 are very expensive and hard to come by. Why do you need so much RAM? Could you make do with say, 8GB?

yeah i suppose, and i want to run heavy mutiple programmes at
the same time, i use limewire, photoshop cs3, sony vegas
pro8, a game, itunes, a few safaris and msn messenger and
messnger+

That same OCZ RAM is £126 on Overclockers UK but it is out of stock.

newegg usually has 4 gig ram modules, but for some reason they are always out of them. I would check their site for that info.
