Subject: RAID problems - with more InfoOS: XP homeCPU/Ram: 200 |
Comment: My harddrives are not detected when I try using my RAID card. When I boot from the XP CD, the system reports no hard drives as well. I looked into BIOS, and What I have there at this point for boot options is floppy, cd-rom, my hdd0. What about my second mirrored hdd? DO CIMOS need to be changed too? If so, what would I have there?

Reply: (edit)hi when you try to install your raid card put your raid drivers on floppy. when you boot from xp cdrom in begining on botom of screen you can read type F6 to install SCSI driver. At this moment you can direct to your floppy to get drivers of your RAID card. After that follow screen. Hope this will help.
