If memory serves it will not work, the raid control chip depending on the type will not allow you to build the raid array.
The 2 drives must be identical for raid 0.

The special edition WD drives were not very good for raid setups at all. I had a bad exprns with these drives about 7 months ago whre the system kept carshing with them on raid 0.
I took them off and installed another set and all worked fine.
You should find some information about this issue on the WD support site. It has something to do with the anty vibration mechanism within the system drive.
I would recomend the Seagate 80m gig with 8 meg cache, they work great with raid 0 config.
