Which one is better? I thought that the 9600 Pro would be much faster then the Geforce 4 but it is the other way around. I can get a 14000 score on 3dMark2001SE with the Geforce 4 but I can't get more then 10000 with the 9600Pro and it has a faster clock and twice the memory (256mb). What's the deal?

theres been this whole controversy over nvidia tweaking their drivers to not render the complete scenes in 3dmark benchmarks. they did this to get higher 3dmarks when it wasn't actually the case. the 9600pro is a dx9 compatible vid card im thinking that the ti4600 isnt but i could be wrong. anyways the 9600pro should score better in 3dmark2003. 2001 is dead, all the newer games will be dx9 so get a dx9 card. go for radeon.
