I recently bought a single x1900xtx card (saphire). I would like to get my crossfire setup. Can I just buy another x1900xtx or a x1900xt crossfire edition. Not quite sure what model I would need. ATI's x1900xt is corssfire ready, to my understanding the crossfire edition is a bit different than the other, Am I correct?

You have one of the top rated cards currently in production....adding a 2nd would just be a waste of money, especially considering your weak CPU.
Hopefully you have a kickass name brand PSU (Antec, Enermax, Fortron, Thermaltake, tec) of at least 500W. A decent unit should have cost you close to $100, possibly more.
As for the Crossfire setup, read your manual for both the board & card...if necessary, check the manufacturer's website for more info.

I have an MSI Gaming Edition 600w active pfc dual 12v rails and modular cable support. I'm pretty sure I have an efficient powersupply. Atleast I would asume so. I paid about 159 for it. Its actually a good power unit you can check it out at msi's website. It does say dual videocard support on the specs somewere.

Summary: Ummmm.. I suppose that it would work fine. But the question is, Why the hell would you buy an ATI Crossfire motherboard and stick on a nVidia 7900GT?? Mattwizz3 : ) Sempron 2600+ @ 2.2GHz 1Gb DDR400...

Summary: Crossfire or SLi configurations are generally a waste of money. Unless you bought two high end cards, it's almost a certainty that there's a single good card available that will beat them. And hopeful...
