radeon 9600 pro power question

exactly how much power does this card use. the reason i am asking is beacause i have a 200 watt power supply and i dont want to get a new one if i dont have to.thanks for the help and have a nice day.

I think it would be between 50-60 watts. I don't think a 200 watt supply will be big enough.

200W is much too low, even with your old setup.
My 200W blew up as I updated my old Pentium2 350MHz to a Celeron 733@1232MHz and destroyed the controllercard of my old scanner by putting too much power in the system. Also an old harddrive seems to be damaged because since then it just vanishes suddenly and comes back after a couple of reboots!

I suggest something around 400W to be on the safe side and ready for further upgrades!

i dont have an old setup i have an athlon xp 2600+.and thanks once again for the help
