I have seen some Radeon 9000 cards on eBay which claim it is compatible with 2x AGP. I looked on Newegg, such as this:
Asus A7N8X-X 1800+ @8x210mhz 512mb PC3200 Ti4200/8X 128mb WDC 60GB

There could be some confusion concerning ATI cards. ATI manufactures Graphic chipsets, which they integrate into thier own BUILT BY ATI graphics cards. ATI also sells the graphic chipsets to other manufacturers to incorporate into thier brand or graphic cards. These cards are referred to as POWERED BY ATI. They may or may not be the same. That said, I recommend that if this card on Ebay doesn't specify which type of ATI9000 it is that you ask for clarification and if POWERED BY ATI check the specs with the manusfacturer. BUILT BY ATI cards have serial #s starting with 100.

a lot of cards only mention the highest AGP speed they are compatabible with but they are normally compatible with one speed step lower also. Virtually all 8X cards are also compatable with 4x. Virtually all 4x cards are also compatible with 2x. I believe Radeon 9000 would usually be compatible with 4x & 2x.

Thanks. I've looked at several auction items and most of them mention 4x/2x and even 1x.
