I was just moving things around in my house, and I moved this computer upstairs into a different room. For some reason, when I moved it, I went to go turn it on and it wouldnt. I tried everything i could think of, including resetting BIOS via jumper. Finally I swapped video cards with a compaq presario I have had since like....2000, and it worked in the compaq. I took the TNT2 out of the compaq and tried it in the computer I moved, and it worked. When I put the Radeon back in, it wont work. Whats the deal here? Anyone know?

johnoh,

Sounds like he has a loose pin on the Radeon.

I also think it got lucky when he plugged it into the compaq.

Try and find which pin is loose. Then re-solder if possible. JMO.

Also, if you are using two different monitors, it could be the monitors cable fault as well. It's a tuffy.
