RADEON 7500 Video Card

This video card only has S video tv out. We have it connected to a vhs peritel adapter as that is the standard here in France. We have tried directly to the Tv and through the VCR but can only diplay on in black and white. When we play video, it only shows black. Is there a way to fix this?

I wonder if it has something to do with the PAL code for your country.
A search on "TV Out France Black and White" prduced a couple hits from people who had the same problem. I see no obvious solution, but there are some ideas for you to try...

Thanks for the quick response. It's for my brother in laws computer so I'll give some of these a try on the weekend. I guess things would be much easier if they would have supplied a composite connection.
