Comment: Hi, I recently tried to install a radeon 7500 on my Windows 2000 based computer. Everything seemed to be fine right until the moment where the windows logon was about to show up, when the boot screen went black and then paused. So, it was stuck showing the win 2000 boot screen showing all bars filled in. I could tell the computer was booting regularly, but the image wasnt showing. Any help would be appreciated!

Reply: (edit)Sounds like a defective card. It appears to have a problem switching to Graphics mode. Before windows starts it's running in basic alphanumeric mode.
