Hi,

I have connected my IBM T43 laptop to my Sony television using an S-VIDEO cable.

The output from my laptop shows up on the screen.

However, when I run video files, e.g on Windows media player, I can view the clip on my laptop, however, the windows media player screen on the television is blank, i.e. the windows media player or any other player GUI shows on the television, however the clip that I am playing does not show.

Any thoughts on what may be wrong?

Thanks
RJ

you'll have to go into the ati control panel and switch the TV to the primary display, and it'll play on the tv but not the laptop screen
