Hi I just got a new laptop Acer Aspire 5050-3543 http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pr... .

Im just wondering if laptop gets hot to the side (where the heat suppose to escape) quickly because I have never own a laptop b4. Another part that gets kinda hot is the space near the mouse censor (bottom right corner where you put ur palm). IS this normal or my engine is overheating?

My Acer runs a little hot too. But it has been doing so for a few years.

I think you're fine.
