Quick Desktop In XP Pro

i was wondering if there was anything in XP or something i can get so i can switch to the desktop and minimize all the icons like i could in win 2000...(button on bottom left)

You mean show desktop? I have one on my XP its the second button my on quicklauch list, looks like a blue/white quare with a pencil on it

Right-click taskbar -> Toolbars -> Quick Launch
Or press Windows Key + D to do the same thing.

Method 1:
Click [Start] [Run] [Notepad]. Type the following contents [excluding the line]. __________________ [Shell] Command=2 IconFile=explorer.exe,3 [Taskbar] Command=ToggleDesktop __________________
Save the file as "ShowDesktop.SCF" [beware of double-extensions. Always use double-quotes] Drag the file to the QuickLaunch bar.

Method 2:
Search for the file named Showdesktop.scf in your computer by logging in as administrator. Every user has a copy of this file. Copy it to your userprofile path here: [For Windows 2000/XP] C:\Documents and Settings\[USER NAME]\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
