The minimum requirements is 32 megebyte vcard....Does it have to be AGP? Or has any body played UT03 with a PCI card???? I mean i have a 1700+ drr-266 512, but do you think i can play UT03 with my card, i downloaded third party drivers for XP and they work fine with the card! i KNOW pci is alot slower then AGP but will i still be able to dont have any cash, whats the best option?

Reply: (edit)The "BEST" option? Upgrade your videocard! Otherwise, just try the game & see if it works...it won't hurt anything to try... Why are you running a PCI card on a "modern" system?

Reply: (edit)I own a 3dfx Voodoo 5 5500 PCI as well on my o/c Athlon 1.5Ghz system. Everything works fine. I tried that out on GTA Vice City @ 800x600x32 and it played smoothly. It should able to work on UT2K3 but it will run sluggish. I agree with jam, if you want to system to run smoothly on games, get a better video card. The voodoo 5 5500 is obsolete already. By the way, out of every 3dfx Voodoo cards out there, the difference between AGP and PCI version is 1% performance difference. 3dfx turned off AGP texture support on all Voodoo cards so getting a PCI and AGP is pretty much the same.
