Subject: Question for the alert ones?OS: xpCPU/Ram: 3200/512 |
Comment: good evening gents!or goodmorning,or good afternoon. I have been waiting patiently with my current pc,and wondering if its a good time to upgrade?I know a few months back all the newer hardware was very expensive, and was wondering at this time if the prices have come down any?or are prices going to stay steady at what they are currently selling for? I was also wondering for those who have a current 64 bit system, and those who had an old ageing Amd xp 3200,if there is a noticeable speed diffrence from the 3200 xp 32bit to the 3200 64bit?

Reply: (edit)prices will soon go up probably with the release of the new windows vista operating system.. designed for 64bit.. but will go down after a few months. ram is expected to soar too because the new operating system will be 2x more ram intensive.. expect to have 1gig to be able to run it respectivly and 2gig to enjoy it. Reply: (edit)Keep in mind that programs have to be written to take advantage of the 64 bit operating system or CPU. WILL POST FOR FOOD.
