Question about videocards

I have a quick question about video cards. In just 1 hour im going to buy a 64mb geforce agp....and I wanted to know if having 192mb of ram would effect my performance. According to it guys over here, they said thats what the video card is for and the agp port...its not going to hurt you're ram...and its going to give you all the ram you're missing because im using an integrated shared with my ram. Wanted to know whats up, thanks!

If you are currently using integrated graphics most any add in AGP card should be an improvement. That said it should be noted that the card you intend to get is considered a low end or budget card.
