Basically I have a Quantum Fireball ICT 20.4GB Hard drive 3.5" series. The circuit board is broken on it. Just wondering if anyone knows any where I could get one from or even anyone who has a spare?

Thanks Tommy

Are you trying to recover files? If not then it isn't worth the bother. If so there may be more than one circuit board use on that model drive.

Yeah im trying to reover the data left on it. All I want to do is get it working and transfer it over to my new hard drive. Is the best bet just to buy a similar hard drive of ebay and transfer the circuit board over? Im not sure I am able to buy the circuit board on it's own?

The boards MAY be different. Buying a drive with the same model/ size/ may or may not be suffiecent, I don't know.

You need to find the SAME MODEL DRIVE made within a few weeks/months of your drive otherwise the firmware may be different.
