Reply: (edit)It depends on your requirements. TFT is a type of LCD. If you are doing basic office applications like WP and browsing, then a LCD is better. Less flicker, flat screeen, better colour,less eyestrain but more expensive. However is you are an avid gamer then a CRT is better as the refresh rate with LCD is slower although they are getting better. Stuart

Reply: (edit)Crt is best. But the desk space requirements for a 21 inch crt are huge, whereas, the lcd flatpanel takes up maybe a few inches of depth,. That's were the immedieate advantage is. PLus personally, I find the LCD much easier on the eyes after prolonged use.
