I'm looking into buying a 4 CPU motherboard with 500mhz Xeon P3's. I've never done this before and have a few questions about what I need...
1. I currently want a Compaq Prolient 6500 motherboard. This can be used standalone from the 6500 server right? i.e, use my own hardware (HD, power supply, CDrom, etc)
2. I read a little snippet about "power boards" for CPUs. What are they and do I need them (I assume no)?
3. what size power supply would be sufficient for 4 P3 Xeon 500mhz, 1 hd, 2 PCI slots used?

Thanks.
