Comment: Wanted to increase the hard drive, but the replacement turned out faulty. SEPERATELY, swapped the CD-ROM and reassembled all with the original HDD. However comptr will not go. Message shown above. Tried all connections, no issues, all as before but, no go. any ideas? TheFreeInsuranceMan

Reply: (edit)The jumpers may not be set correctly. The boot HD needs to be set as the master on the primary IDE channel. I suggest that you not use cable select as a setting (CS). One other thing Western digital HD have an additional setting for Master alone. That means without a slave one the same cable.

Reply: (edit)if your getting the PXE - E61 Media test failure when you are booting up and it won't let you boot to windows take your cmos battery out and boot the system up and then after you get to windows shut it down normally and then put the cmos battery back in and boot it back up contact me at texas_tornado_20000@yahoo.com I charge $20 hr
