Hello,

I have a big problem with my ibm R40e

ibm pxe 2.1 build 082 j
pxe e61 media test failure check cable
pxe mof exiting broadcom
pxe rom operating sustem not found

Please help me!!!

The system is attempting to boot off a network, no network is found, therefore the error. If it's not a networked computer, either your hard drive died or the boot order in the BIOS has changed, usually due to a bad CMOS battery.

... for some reason your bootup order has changed.

... it means booting into your (click >>) bios then alter the boot order sequence or disable boot to Lan important: save settings on exit of bios.

... the cmos battery (watch type) may need replacing(?) as the bios relies on this to store and hold the settings.

It usually means that there is some problem.

I'd use a live cd to see if I could access my files before I did anything.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
