I'm a little baffled at this problem. I have a transluscent "spot" on my laptop screen. It is about 2.5 inches wide, has a purple tint in the center and a little yellow/off white around the purple. The purple is about half an inch wide with the yellowish halo surrounding it. I can see everything through it, it just looks like a purple tinted bright splotch. Now the funny thing is that it moves around depending on how I store my laptop. If i leave the unit setup with the screen up, when I turn it on the next morning, the spot will be at the bottom or on of the corners of the screen. If I store it in the case with the left side down, the spot will be on the left, etc, etc. It's very strange. If I "massage" the screen on the spot, i get purple ripples on the spot, but not anywhere else. I can still use the laptop fine, just curious as to what the issue it. My guess is that it's in the lcd, Thanks
