Just FYI. I picked up a brand new ECS K7VTA3 w/XP2000 chip for $75 yesterday from Fry's, I know, what a deal LOL. Anyway, installed mission essentials and attempted to POST. I managed to get something on screen so the vid card was good and it powered up but I had a continuous beeping. After searching for Beep Codes I found was Vid Card or PSU. I swapped vid cards, same thing. Swapped PSU's and nothing (that one must have been bad) so I switched back to the original I started with and sure enough, it wasn't seated properly on the MOBO. Make sure you check your connections throughly is the lesson.
