Comment: PSU Voltage worries... after reading what people have been saying i'm still at a loss...my psu came with the case (tsunami capricorn) its a 300w atx and lists its full specs on the side.. when running my m/b bios and asus probe (running a asus a7v333 raid m/b) the voltages come up as 12v 13.37 or above (never hit 14v yet) 5v@4.945...3.3v@3.296...vcore@1.792... why is the 12v so high?

Reply: (edit)Only 1.37 v more. THAT ISN'T HIGH You are looking for problems where there are non !!! Also "as a technician" you should know not to measure output stability without load.

Reply: (edit)Jimbe!! How did u measure the Voltages? Using on board sensors or manually by Digital multimeter,if latter z the case do it with some load,,better load the 5 volt bus,all the output voltages are regulated by sensing the load on 5 volt.
