I am now building a new pc and have made a list on new egg.Certain parts such as my 250gb hardrive and x-fi sound card im keeping. The new parts consist of:

Gx280
raid max hybrid 730 watts psu

A-DATA 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333, GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58, intel i7 920

My question refers to the psu. Is 730 watts enough for a possible gx280 and i7 920 overclock to 3.5ghz. I was told that this is easily achievable using stock cooling but at a cost to psu power consumption. Along with the video card, and 6gb of ddr3 ram. What is an appropriate psu for my motherboard that will support all these hardwares including a cpu overclock. Ive searched but not sure of a compatible one with an i7 board, and I am not sure how many watts are required. Are 750 watts appropriate?

730W is more than enough, in fact, you can easily do with less. I'm not a fan of Raidmax PSU's but if THIS is what you have, it *should* be fine.
