Does your psu have a fan monitoring connector ??

If yes is it connected to the power fan header on the mother board.

If you dont have this cable coming out of the psu than your fan monitor would be showing zero.

The reason it is telling you tis below threashold is because the bios monitor is set to read the fan speed.

Jump inot the bios, and trun the monitoring for the power fan to Desable.

You dint list the hardware you have !!

can you do this so we know what we are dealing with !!

Although your psu is right on the limit almost for what you have, but it shouldnt be giving you any trouble, unless it is far to old and may be reaching the end of its life.

Event hough it is a 300 wat, the real true rating would be around 250 to 275, and from what you told me your equipment should not use any more than 250 max and I have allowed fior a case fan. I presume it is 3.6 ghz 533 fsb northwood cpu.

Going on what you said so far i would be inclined to look elswhere for your problem, a game or driver conflict perhaps. The agme you are trying to run is the video card enough to run it.

Are the latest drivers installed, do you have all the chipset drivers installed, is the Intel Aplication Acelerator installed ??

But in saying all that, a more powerfull psu would not go astray, a good 350 or even 380 would me much better.

I defntly wouldnt run a p4 with a 300w. To much drain and not enough amparage I would suspect.

When did you start having this probelm, and did you install something or remove something at all ??
