Comment: Hello, For months my PC has ran fine, 2 days ago I decided to move my room around and add a seccond GFX card to my machine to set up duel monitering. Everything was fine, duel monitering was working and I began to play a game. After a while (my friend was now playing unreal 2003) the power just cut and wouldnt come back on. I assumed the seccond GFX card had overloaded the PSU so I removed it and added a new PSU (both PSU's were 300 watt). The PC worked fine again, it was on all night no problems as it normaly is, then today I tried playing eve online, again the power cut and it seems the new PSU had blown. Does anyone have any idea as to why the PSU may have blown due to playing games? It has been fine for months with this set-up as the seccond card has now been removed. my specs are shown below. AMD 2000XP 256DDR Ram Geforce 4 440 (AGP) 64MbDDR Rockwell Sound (dont ask..) Hope someone can help :) thanks for your time!

Reply: (edit)When you moved your room around, did you move the comp around too? You may have moved the comp or the room layout into a position that is restricting airflow or raising the temp now and your pc is overheating.
