psu able to handle sli?.

i have an antec neo he 550w psu and i was wondering would it be able to handle 2 nvidia geforce 8600gt 512mb 128bit gddr2 video cards?. i plan to buy an ultra x3 1000w psu later on but anyways here is my cpu rig....

If the PSU has 2 PCIe power connectors then it was intended for SLI. Other PSUs MAY be OK.

I don't know about "expert" but just think about it...besides the concerns about having an adequate power supply, you'll have twice the heat, twice the noise, twice the cost, but not twice the performance.
