Subject: PS2 Through PC?OS: XPCPU/Ram: 1GHz P3/256MB |
Comment: This is a question that's baffled me for years now, but is there a way to run a Playstation 2 and/or Gamecube through a PC and its monitor, with a high degree of picture quality?

Reply: (edit)I play my PS1 on my PC through a TV tuner which has a video input. The qualitiy is'nt very great but thats because I baught a dodgy no-name cheapo, but its OK. If you buy a good TV tuner you should get good qualitiy. You might want to look at buying a digital TV tuner because then you will most likely get a good quality picture. Reply: (edit)Er.... you could buy a HDTV wonder card. Then you would be ready for the new XBOX2 as well. Then you could have it so your XBOX runs through with very high quality, out to your monitor. Or you could just buy a convertor from XBOX to VGA connector.

Reply: (edit)You cannot get a high monitor quality display from a NTSC (TV) signal. The signal itself is of a low resolution. It's approximately 640x480.
