Hello!
I assist in running a lot of IT operations at our local university, and I recently ran into a case where we purchased a new Dell Optiplex system that does not have any PS/2 ports for the keyboard or mouse... USB is the only option on this newer PC.
However, I set up one of these PCs for the university library and they need a PS/2 port for their barcode scanners to function. I have tried an adapter, but with no success.
My question is... Is it possible to purchase a PCI expansion card that will give us a PS/2 port? I have been searching the web for a company that sells one, but I haven't been able to find any.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
