I have several Proliant 3000 that are loud when placed in someone's office. I don't have the option of placing the server in a more open area. My question is this: I will be purchasing new servers and would like to know if there is a way to determine in advance how loud the server will be? I am looking at Proliant ML350 Tower Server
Thx for your help

Couldn't you call proliant and ask someone there? I'm sure they would be honest about noise issues, and if not you can always return it.

When all else fails beat the $%!* out of it!!!
