Comment: hi, does the latest Azureus, 2.4xxx have a problem on dual core machines? I have an amd x2 4400+ and it seems to be crashing quite often... just shutting down and disappearing every so often. also, im having problems with dreamfall:the longest journey... it keeps freezing the computer every so often as well, forcing a reboot... [is it like war3 and requires to set the affinity to one cpu?] i have all the latest drivers and updates for every component... what could be the problem?

Reply: (edit)Take this with a grain of salt, but after replacing a 4000+ with a dual-core Opteron I had a few programs that became unstable or didn't function correctly. They required an uninstall, regclean, and reinstall before they functioned as they did before the upgrade. "If it ain't broke, upgrade anyway."

Reply: (edit)A grain of salt because I really believe a clean install of the OS is the only thing that will setup the HAL exactly how it should be. :) "If it ain't broke, upgrade anyway."
