Processor Wires?

can anybody tell me what the two wires that are coming out of the processor are for.it has a plastic connecter at the end but it is blank. its a Slot 1 type and i know its not the heatsink fan.i know its a pentium 2 with MMX technology. if the mystery wires arent connected, would that be the reason it dont start and where would i hook it up to? the MoBo is Azza DVAX2 and i havent found any documentation for it. Thanks in advance.
they are black. i would say they are a little thinner then the cpu fan wires. but these go from a plastic connecter and the wires go through one of four hole on the fan houseing, through the heatsink and into the cpu housing. when its off the MoBo, i can look into the bottom and see the wires. if you want or if its possible i can take a pic of it to show.

maybe it is for a thermal sensor? Don't really know.
is it neccecary to plug in somewhere? and where would it plug in at? sorry, and would that keep the computer from starting up? the motherboard is a Azza DVAX2!
