Hi, I have an ecs p4vmm2 mobo and a p4 2.4 processor and 512 mb ddr ram. But it is running as 1.66 ghz and 480 mb ram. I cannot change the cpu frequency in bios, and I have no idea why the ram is screwed up. Anyone have any ideas?

What is the speed of the ddr? And I notice that this has via chipset. Have you downloaded the latest via 4 and 1 driver?

Did you check the settings for the processor in the BIOS? Does the motherboard have integrated video? If so it probably doesn't have it's own memory so it is using part of the DDR memory. If that is the case it will show up as 512MB in BIOS and a lessor amount in Windows.
