Helo,
I just bought a laptop that is Pentium I and when you start the computer where it shows its components it says the processor's speed is 150 MHz but when windows is loaded and you check it in the Device Manager it Says:-
Pentium (r) MMx
300 MHz
and it shows 40 Mb Ram at startup but in device manager it shows 32Mb, if anybody have any Idea how to solve the problem I will be really Thankfull....

This probably relates to 8MB (missing) RAM used for shared intigrated video. 8MB kept to run your mobo video and you are left 32 to run systems. Or the 8MB maybe perm installed on mobo and the 32 is in RAM sticks(?).

Perhaps it would help if you told us the actual REAL processor speed so we know if its the motherboard or OS which is the problem. Possibly both.

Sounds likely that as DDS says, 8MB of RAM is being used for onboard video. I would check this in the BIOS. You can usually set how much memory to share to video on the BIOS (2,4, 8MB). I would also, have a look at the CPU setting and specifically the CPU multiplier... see if you can change the setting to get it to 300Mhz. It is probably using the wrong mutiplier.
