Hey i just purchased this lightening fast Emachines T6212, it is running pretty quick, i just need more memory to upgrade it. But other than that i runs OK. One thing i want to note is that the processor light blinks almost every 2 seconds, even though when i do not do anything. It is not bright. THe lenght of blink is less that second. I dont know what this is about, i never had something like this happen to my other PCs. is something wrong. Thanks....

Proccesor light or Hard Drive LED?? Either way that should be normal, so don't worry about it.
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice...

I never read the manual. So i dont know what it says. I just thought that it is abnormal. Because blinking like this shouldn't be when i dont anything. May that be because my PF usage is high 409? Do you know how can i lower the Page File Usage History? My video card takes up 128 mb of ram, so all i have left is 384 of ram. Can that cause the problem.
Any suggestion how to lower PF would be very helpful.Lider

I could tell from this and your other posts that you didn't read your manual.
Sometimes the information you are looking for has been written and is very easy to find.
Google is a good resource too.

This is usually caused by CD auto insert notification being turned on. Since a CD drive is not treated like a disk drive, the system polls it once a second or so to see if a CD has been loaded into the drive. If you go to Device Manager, click on a CD drive and look under Settings you'll see a check box. Uncheck it and see if you still have the blink. Then recheck it unless you don't want the system to respond to CD loading.

Hey man i think i understand what you mean. I went to to device manager and found 2 CD drives that i have and went to properties. I dont see any recheck option in there, but i see it say USE THIS DEVICE or DO NOT USE THIS DEVICE.
Thanks manRaul

Hey man you are RIGHT!!!
IT stopped, actually it does it but only every 7-8 seconds after i disable it. SO what can i do about it. I that new motherboards do not have this problem. So can it be a hassle. I really like the PC, so if it will damage something i still have 14 day warranty on it. Thanks man.Lider
