Well, IMO, if your processor is dead, then you won't be able to see anything on your monitor screen.

is there any way i can test this processor outside .i had even read somewhere that if ur processor is dead u get a continus beep. is it true.i want this info. as i m a novice in this field and i dont want to be fooled by a h/w engg.
