how do i know if my processor is dead even though it looks intact from outside. r there any beeps that i get if my processor is dead and rest everything is fine

Well, IMO, if your processor is dead, then you won't be able to see anything on your monitor screen.

is there any way i can test this processor outside .i had even read somewhere that if ur processor is dead u get a continus beep. is it true.i want this info. as i m a novice in this field and i dont want to be fooled by a h/w engg.

The only way to be positive a CPU is dead is to swap it.
