Hi I am a new user this is the first question. But a big problem! When ever I turn on or am playing I get this message every five minutes and it needs clicking ok! What can I do to correct it?
"The procedure entry point freeaddrinfo cannot be located in the dynamic link library W52_32.dll."
How to get rid of it? Thanks for any help.
Richard
The machine is Diminsion 2400 about 2-3 years old and running XP. I did put a new graphics board on it some few years back.

Since this is your first question in these forums we'll forgive you for posting an operating system question in the hardware forum. A little googling has revealed that the error may relate to a problem in winsock. I haven't yet found a definite solution but perhaps you can search under the subject "winsock errors" and find a fix. This page: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/d... might help
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
