Can anyony help with a problem i am encountering with Windows version of Vista. When i boot my laptop up, i receive a message syaing START UP REPAIR, YOUR COMPUTER WAS UNABLE TO START (Start up repair is checking your system for problems) The message continues, If problems are found, start up repair will fix them automatically, your computer might restart several times during this process.

I leave the laptop running for hours and it doesnt move past this message/startup repair screen

Any ideas??????

Many thanks in advance

✔ Best Answer
Perform a factory recovery, but bear in mind that doing so will completely erase everything that's currently on the C drive (that's one of the reasons why keeping backups is so important).
